JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the financial management of a property (or group of properties) for a client and fulfilling the financial obligations under the terms of the property’s management agreement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all lease administration/ financial duties, including AP/AR.
- Ensure compliance with financial property management policies and procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental directives
- Preparation of operating and capital budgets, track variances, perform year-end reconciliations, and ensure smooth recovery process
- Accurately abstract all property leases in lease administration software
- Maintain interface with third-party owners and accounting team to ensure total contract compliance, including preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting
- Participate in financial and client team meetings and ensure effective communication between accountants and property management team members in order to achieve client’s goals and objectives
- Provide and foster positive relationships with tenants, clients and third-party entities

IMPORTANT EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of real estate financial management or related financial experience
- Strong knowledge of finance
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, and deliver.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Yardi
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment in the greater Lisbon area. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, videoconference and phones.
