Essential Duties:
Calculating and recording monthly journal entries
Preparing monthly close schedules
Ensuring monthly close deadlines are met
Reviewing financial statements and performing account reconciliations
Analyzing financial statement activity
Working closely with other departments in recording and analyzing financial data
Assisting with internal and external audit requests, as well as other special projects
Other duties, as required
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related degree
1-2 years accounting experience
Be able to complete accurate and timely work while meeting deadlines
Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to analyze data and reach your own conclusions
Independent thinker with the ability to solve problems
Proactive learner
Takes accountability and strives to increase results
Advanced Excel skills
