We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Global FP&A team based in our New York, NY office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds and maintain reports and dashboards, such as timesheet dashboards and reports and portfolio financial reports
- Track and communicate KPI for the operations for the department
- Ensuring all financial related details are accurately recorded and reported which all serve to help achieve AMCN goals and enable data-informed decision making
- Assist in preparing monthly accrual entries for the accounting department for operating expenses and capital expenses
- Analyze p&l accounts monthly by vendor detail
- To assist with the end-to-end budgeting process with detailed analyses, consolidating/updating monthly actuals and forecasts within the company’s financial systems.
- Prepare analysis for p&l activity with variances and ensure p&l and capital transactions are properly coded for reporting purposes.
- Process and track invoices ensuring proper budget keeping for month - end close, rolling forecast and expense tracking across all GT&O businesses.
- Ensuring the integrity of the procurement-to-pay lifecycle by verifying that purchase orders, invoices, and receiving reports match precisely
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business
- 2-4 years of experience as a financial analyst or accounting position
- Experience in working in an IT department is preferred
- MS Office expertise, including Outlook, Teams, PowerBI, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Oracle Essbase, Oracle Planning and Oracle EBS is a plus
- Knowledge of financial processes and terms
- Proficiency in the use of PPM tool(s), ie. Service Now, Jira, etc. is a plus
The base compensation range for this position is $70,000- $75,000, commensurate with experience.
