Reporting to the Director, US Operations Expenses, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for the financial activities pertaining to the support of US Segment Operations. You will drive the development, implementation and maintenance of monthly financials, efficiency metric analysis, reporting, planning and forecasting with a focus on the Operations function. Working closely with the expense shared service team and collaborating with the functional business partners, you will provide streamlined support and thoughtful analysis to both functional leaders and the segment expense teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial and business reviews, ensuring data quality and developing customer-focused reporting with clear, insightful analysis and commentary

  • Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills for expense review, adhering to company policies and employing business knowledge

  • Lead enhancements in reporting processes and assess the financial impact, providing strategic recommendations

  • Play a key role in the Expense Management leadership team, focusing on project achievement, operational improvement, and best practices

  • Identify expense risks and opportunities, influencing actions for business partners, and drive Strategic Cost Management discussions

  • Foster innovation and collaboration across teams, building relationships to enhance results and engagement throughout the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or advanced degree highly desirable

  • 3-5 years of experience in progressive accounting roles, demonstrating the ability to collaborate across functions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, negotiation, and influence.

  • Self-starter with independent judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in managing expectations, meeting tight deadlines, and handling competing priorities.

  • Excellent customer focus with a commitment to quality and strong business sense for clear communication of complex concepts.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an interest in quickly learning new applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Finance or MBA preferred

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Quebec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec

Salary range is expected to be between

$62,850.00 CAD - $104,750.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
