Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling and Analysis: Update existing financial models to support long range planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting processes. Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Partner with business leaders to track departmental budgets and support the Head of FP&A with monthly forecasts.
- Reporting and Presentations: Assist with the preparation of board and investor materials, including financial models and supporting analysis.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Ability to take ownership and execute on ad hoc projects to support new business initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
- Business Partnership: Serve as a finance business partner to various departments, offering financial guidance and insights to support their decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas preferred
- Comfortable working in financial models and managing budgets for business partners
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Can work in fast-paced environments with an interest in the media industry
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
- Experience with NetSuite and FP&A tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
