Job DescriptionVisa USA Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Financial Analyst (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to:
- Manage incentive contacts for North America.
- Analyze newly executed incentive contract terms to assess contractual obligations and determine appropriate accounting treatment based on company policy and procedure.
- Review proforma to ensure accuracy of contract interpretation and application of company accounting policies.
- Setup incentive contracts in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing system per contract terms, ensuring that all key obligations have been accurately addressed.
- Ensure consistency in accommodation system limitations.
- Manage, track, and process contractual payments per terms of contracts accurately and timely for all regions, performing peer reviews and approvals on payments and new contract setups.
- Liaise with Sales, Legal, and clients to determine fulfillment of contractual obligations.
- Review ongoing contract performance and update future performance/amortization schedules.
- Responsible for inquiries and issue resolutions related to assigned contracts.
- Coordinate with the Client Incentive Operations team.
- Understand the various deal structures to ensure a consistent business process application.
- Interact with various levels of management across the organization as well as with external clients. Support ad-hoc analysis and projects.
- Ensure key monthly production metrics are met.
- Position reports to the Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Basic Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a financial analyst-related occupation.
- Position requires experience in the following skills:
- Audit or accounting experience;
- Conducting data analysis using Advanced Excel, including xlookup, pivot table, and setup formulas (sumif, index, iferror);
- Financial statements, including profit/loss statements and balance sheets;
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBl; and
- Data analysis, synthesis, and presenting conclusions to management.
Worksite: Foster Ctiy, CA
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $102,600.00 USD to $159,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
