Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our BPO operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cost management, profitability analysis, and operational metrics typical to BPO environments. This role involves working as a finance business partner across various functional groups such as operations, HR, and client services to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with operations to develop periodic forecasts and annual budget, including all P&L lines and capital needs, and manage costs across delivery centers
· Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and explanations for deviations from forecast/budget.
· Provide oversight on collections/overdue Accounts Receivable.
· Support operations with preparing periodic cash flow requirements.
· Track and analyze client profitability and recommend corrective actions if needed.
· Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support specific to BPO operations.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as seat utilization, FTE cost, revenue per agent, and margin by client.
· Ensure compliance with financial controls and internal policies.
· Support audits and work with internal/external auditors as required.
· Support the month-end close process by reviewing inputs, analyzing trends, and ensuring accuracy and correct account classification.
· Coordinate financial matters, working collaboratively with Accounting team.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred).
· 3+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a BPO or services environment.
· Experience in a multi-national company, preferably following US GAAP.
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analytics.
· Experience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP).
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and collaboration.
· Task prioritization, work under pressure, and time management.
Preferred Skills:
· Understanding of labor arbitrage, SLAs, and BPO pricing structures.
· Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams or offshore centers.
· Familiarity with time-tracking and productivity tools used in BPO operations.
