Job Summary:
Centuria Corporation is seeking an experienced, detail oriented, driven accounting and financial analyst to support numerous large-scale, defense business information system technologies. Examples of DoD systems/applications include Information Systems: Defense Travel System (DTS), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), PowerTrack (TAC), Defense Automated Time Attendance and Production System (DATAAPS) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide dedicated support within GFEBS, monitoring the Government Purchase Card (GPC) and Miscellaneous Payment modules/transactions via a designated assistance/help desk.
· Monitor system help tickets, create/update/interpret system documentation, manage user accounts, communicate orally and in writing policy and procedural system changes, develop standard reports to assist users with correcting issues within each system, and stay updated on system requirements and instructions.
· Track system maintenance schedules and provide user community notification of such maintenance schedules and any other scheduled/unscheduled system maintenance/downtime.
· Support system users across DEVCOM Armaments Center and other local Picatinny Arsenal tenants
Job/Skill Requirements:
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Self-starter, with motivation and eagerness for continued improvement.
· Proficient with basic and intermediate design applications and products.
· Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing situations.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
· Positive, customer-service focus with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs, and recommend solutions.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, follow-through on projects from conception to completion, and complete work accurately and timely with minimal supervision.
Education Requirements:
College education preferred
Years of Experience Requirement:
5+ years of experience supporting government and DoD accounting and financial systems and applications.
