Reporting to Senior Manager-FP&A, the Finance Analyst plays a critical role in driving the financial performance of the company by providing reporting and analysis that are foundational to business processes. This role is responsible for providing month end reporting for key financial measures and ensuring data quality is in line with company standards. The ideal candidate has a foundational knowledge of accounting, can produce consistent, standardized reporting deliverables and can identify and correct anomalies in data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting:
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for finance and business key stakeholders.
  • Leverage existing teams and tools to provide reports in multiple outputs including Excel, Adaptive Planning, Workday and PowerBI.
  • Perform monthly roll forward of reporting to ensure formatting and data parameters are consistent from month to month
• Financial Analysis:
  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and investigate and document variances.
  • Analyze Workday transaction data for key data elements to ensure compliance with internal standards.   
  • Provide analysis to accounting teams to correct and curate data through month end accruals

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 1+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. 
• Experience with Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally across various teams.
• Proactive and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
