About This Role
In this role, the Financial Analyst will be responsible to:
- Assist the financial analysts' team in several areas (all steps of monthly closing, preparation of various monthly and quarterly financial reports, etc.
- Assist the FAcT program during the acquisition phase for all financial analysis (revenue forecast, profit, cash flow etc.).
- Preperare revenue recognition questionnaire under IFRS
- Work closely with the subsidiaries.
- Verify and analyze monthly figures.
- Work closely with senior management, program managers and corporate
- Participate in the annual budget and forecasting processes.
- Participate in different special projects and ad hoc analyses.
Qualifications
- University degree in accounting or finance.
- Recognized accounting certification (CMA, CA, CGA) (asset)
- good knoweldge of IFRS
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of previous financial analyst responsibilities, such as financial reporting and analyzing financial performance.
- Capable of working on projects with little guidance.
- Consolidation experience.
- Creative mind/able to think outside of the box.
- Good analytical and technical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels of the organization.
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise and Oracle systems, an asset.
- Fluency in English and Frensh
