This position will manage, analyze, and organize financial data in order to efficiently and effectively provide key metrics, information, and reporting to support internal and external clients, as well as senior leadership. This position will also serve as support for budget and forecasting related tasks managed within the Financial Planning and Analysis group.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Primary data support for bi-annual market valuation process (i.e., Track Record, Appraisals) and the calculation / review of asset and fund level returns (levered/unlevered, gross/net, current/projected IRRs and Equity Multiples)

  • Primary support, in coordination with Portfolio Management, on investor data requests for capital raise initiatives (i.e., investor due diligence questionnaires) and ongoing investor communications/reporting

  • Facilitate the quarterly distribution calculation/approval

  • Support FP&A budget / forecast responsibilities, including becoming a subject matter expert with budget application (Vena)

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial deliverables (i.e., investor portal)

  • Support other Bell business units (e.g., Investor Relations, Asset Management, etc.) through reviewing / analyzing various financial metrics and other key operational related data.

  • Support Transactions team through the preparation and communication of asset disposition analysis

  • Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis, as applicable

Additional Functions and Responsibilities

  • Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required, as well as general knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications

  • High aptitude for financial analysis, especially financial modeling skills

  • Candidate must be a strong communicator and be comfortable dealing with customers at all levels

  • Strong work ethic, resourceful, with the ability to be reprioritize

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; assuring accurate and timely delivery of materials to team members

  • Strong focus on quantitative analysis and modeling matched with practical business application

  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to demonstrate Bell Core Values

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and the related impacts to financial reporting

  • Familiarity with Yardi a plus

  • Familiarity with Vena a plus

Education and Background:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business

  • 3+ years relevant experience with demonstrated understanding of analyzing financial data

  • Results oriented team player.  Emphasis on communication skills (both oral and written), ability to handle multiple assignments, strong work ethic and time management skills
