Summary

Opportunity for an early career Financial Analyst to join Adient.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare consolidated monthly and quarterly financial reports, including detailed comparison analysis for Actual vs Plan, Actual vs Forecast and Actual vs Prior year.
  • Prepare consolidated monthly rolling forecast file, including comparison analysis for Current Forecast vs Prior Forecast, Current Forecast vs Plan and Current Forecast vs Prior year.
  • Lead the annual Budget / Strategic plan development process:
  • Coordinate with functional departments, operational teams to set up Budget / Strategic plan timeline and assist in consolidation of Plan goals
  • Develop Review template
  • Consolidate financials and assist in developing presentation to CEO/CFO, VPs, and other Senior management.
  • Continually improve forecast accuracy/efficiency for Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow.
  • Assist with presentations for Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in Finance or Accounting. 0 - 3 years’ work experience in financial planning/analysis role with manufacturing background
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (especially in Excel)
  • Experience with Hyperion Smart View preferred but not required
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
