MaintainX is looking for a strong Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team.

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the Finance team in building robust, scalable processes to support our rapid growth.  You will work cross-functionally with our Sales, Revenue Operations, FP&A teams, and other key stakeholders. As a fast-growing company, there will be opportunities to lead special projects, which will enable you to expand your skill set while helping MaintainX build new processes, develop controls, and identify opportunities for automation that will help us scale. 

What you’ll do:

  • Support team members in the execution of finance operations projects and in their day-to-day responsibilities. These projects may include:
    • Scaling our Accounts Payable and Procurement processes; 
    • Working cross-functionally with managers across the organization in order to create robust Travel & Expense policies and controls;
    • Helping the team implement new Payroll providers in Canada and internationally;
    • Assist with the implementation of an ERP software;
    • Work cross-functionally with the Revenue Operations team to assist with data clean-up and automation;
    • Help support the execution of various initiatives such as price increases;
    • Any other continuous improvement projects to enhance our processes and support business growth.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Commissions team, Sales Leaders and the Revenue Operations team to assist with the commission process and plan building for FY2025.
  • Own the AP function and help establish, maintain, and grow our control framework.
  • Assist the FP&A team with calculating various financial metrics.
  • Oversee and maintain various spending budgets. 
  • Other ad hoc requests and analysis.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or operations.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is not required but is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Stripe, Zapier, or similar automation tools are not required but are considered an asset.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Proven success in maintaining a positive attitude while handling multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities and leading projects with significant change management requirements.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong drive to achieve goals while working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High energy, flexible, and has a willingness to take initiative.
