We are committed to growing your career, so in this role you will:

  • Open and close bank accounts as requested by Servicing Accounting.
  • Maintain propriety of DDA information within the McCracken Software Program and within the master deposit account list. Prepare modification requests for deposit account changes as required.
  • Prepare journal entries to record account activity produced outside of our software system.
  • Prepare requests for ACH or wires as needed for non-operational money movement activities.
  • Prepare reports to summarize bank ratings for use inside and outside of Servicing Accounting.
  • Assist with the reserve investment accounting and interest on investment program as requested.
  • Preparation of the daily overdraft report. Assist with investigation and clearance of accounts in an overdraft position.
  • Assist with general ledger reconciliations as needed, (specifically advance reconciliations).
  • Work closely with the Bank Reconciliations Unit to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Document and maintain procedures to ensure Corporate and Servicing compliance & Perform other duties as delegated by Servicing Management.
  • Perform the investment reserve function, including the purchase/sale of CD’s and Treasury Bills, to ensure that investments are properly managed in accordance with loan documents.
  • Assist in the monthly preparation of detailed bank balance/earnings/fee reports for senior management

  • Adhere to Berkadia’s policies and exhibit proficiency and understanding of Berkadia’s Values and position-specific skills.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and a working knowledge of general ledger systems.
  • Experience with banking software and McCracken software a plus.
