The Role
ZenBusiness is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our Finance team. This position is integral in aiding the team with various financial tasks, particularly in support of the Sales team. The primary objective of this role is to manage time-consuming financial tasks, allowing for more focus on strategic goals and enhancement of the potential of our Sales team.
This is a contract position that will report to our VP of Finance and is a remote role.
Responsibilities
- Calculate and process commissions for sales representatives and leadership using Google Sheets, based on Salesforce reports
- Analyze and report on past performance of the sales team
- Update and maintain the financial model to forecast revenues and expenses accurately
- Assist in headcount planning and related financial assessments
- Conduct budget versus actual analyses to identify variances and suggest corrective actions
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as required by senior management
Qualifications
- Higher education degree that is equivalent to a US Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a role such as Financial Analyst, Revenue Operations Analyst, or a similar position with a US-based company.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with a sales team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and provide meaningful insights
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced formulas and functions in Excel and Google Sheets (e.g., SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with financial software and tools, including Google Sheets, Excel, Salesforce, Anaplan, and Tableau
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially important in financial reporting and analysis

- macOS and G-Workspace knowledge is a plus!
