Summary
The overall objective of this position is to provide a high level of customer service, business intelligence, and insights into a variety of reporting.
Essential Duties/Accountabilities
- Prepare and analyze data for end-user projects
- Accurately report and understand financials, including general ledger accounts
- Evaluate general ledger accounts by conducting variance analysis - comparing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives
- Guide cost analysis process by following policies and procedures
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions and trends
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of business, finance, or relevant experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Economics preferred
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Strong analytical and data query/data management skills (Access, SQL, Business Intelligence)
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Experience with data-heavy projects
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
- Experience working with and presenting to senior executives
