About the Role
As a Financial Analyst, you will be providing financial support to the America Professional Solutions Division. You will be focusing on the financial planning, analysis, and control for the business units. In addition, you will be a key business partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive strategy, process improvements, change management initiatives, and margin performance. You will also play a key role in supporting the growth of the business and ensuring that strong profitability is achieved, requiring an understanding of the business, summarizing, and communicating the financials to allow management to make informed business decisions.
What You Will Do
Serve as a strategic finance partner to Sales and Marketing, supporting the development and monitoring of business plans, and consolidating monthly P&L and Balance Sheet results for a business unit with annual revenues exceeding $300M.
Conduct monthly variance analyses comparing budgeted, forecasted, and actual financial performance, with a focus on identifying, interpreting, and documenting key variance drivers to support strategic decision-making.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses across key business areas, including sales performance, pricing strategy adjustments, inventory management, contribution margin trends, and selling and marketing expenditures, to support data-driven decision-making.
Provide strategic business and financial analysis to support management decision-making across key areas including pricing strategies, program evaluation, distribution planning, and sourcing initiatives.
Enhance financial planning, reporting, and analytical processes related to revenue and expense management, driving greater efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insight.
Lead finance training/support initiatives for Sales and Marketing teams, including quarterly Business Intelligence (BI) sessions, to enhance financial acumen and data-driven decision-making across commercial functions.
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance / Accounting.
Minimum of 1year of related finance and accounting experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of financial statements, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Great communication skills and creative thinking, with an ability to use both data, input, and intuition to inform decisions. Able to develop strong communication and relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to frontline team members.
Extensive experience in Microsoft Office software required, including high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
