The “Financial Analyst” will be based in Austin, TX, reporting to the Global Financial Systems Finance Director
This role serves as a key member of the FP&A and Finance Systems organization, supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of financial systems, reporting processes, and data models. This role sits at the intersection of finance, data, and technology, enabling scalable, automated, and accurate financial reporting and analytics to support business decision-making.
You will be charge of ongoing support of the global financial systems consolidation tools to meet the needs of the business. Additionally, this position will be an integral part in standing up the new financial system. This will role will be critical in ensuring accurate and timely reporting for the company.
Responsibilities:
Financial Systems & Data Management
Support the administration, governance, and continuous improvement of financial systems (e.g., EPM, planning tools, reporting platforms)
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements, workflows, and automation solutions
Maintain financial data structures (hierarchies, dimensions, mappings) to ensure integrity across planning and reporting processes
Reporting & Analytics Enablement
Develop and maintain standardized financial reporting, dashboards, and analytics tools
Ensure alignment between system outputs and management reporting, forecast models, and KPIs
Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with automated solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
FP&A Process Integration
Support key planning cycles (monthly close, forecast, annual planning) by ensuring systems are accurately configured and reliable
Partner with FP&A teams to translate business requirements into system logic and reporting outputs
Provide insight into variances and trends by leveraging system-driven data and analytics
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
Play a key role in finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations, integrations, or upgrades
Document processes, controls, and system dependencies to support scalability and audit readiness
Drive best practices in data governance, automation, and process standardization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors
Support user training, adoption, and troubleshooting for financial systems
Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistent processes and reporting standards
What we're looking to add to our team:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
2–6+ years of experience in FP&A, financial systems, or analytics roles
Technical & Systems Skills
Experience with financial systems (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Strong Excel and data manipulation skills; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
Understanding of financial statements, planning processes, and forecasting models
Core Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate business requirements into system/process solutions
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
