The role, under general supervision, is responsible for conducting moderately complex financial, accounting and economic analyses, including journal entry preparation, detailed calculations and internal and external reporting. Duties may include assisting in the preparation of journal entries by compiling, analyzing, and substantiating financial transactions as needed, reconciling accounts as requested, assist in month end/quarterly/year end close process and reporting. assisting in the annual audit, including year-end schedule and financial statement preparation and assisting with the preparation of tax and regulatory reports
Reporting directly to the GA A&R GA External Reporting Team Manager and is primarily accountable to providing timely and accurate service delivery of GWAM and GA A&R deliverables and financial reports.
Position Responsibilities:
FINANCE:
Covers preparation for financial reporting and analysis, accounting operations, bank and general ledger reconciliations, internal control and journal entries, among others.
High quality financial reporting and analytics providing business insights
Responsible for providing meaningful insights to enable Accounting & Reporting senior management to drive key metrics including financial metrics, sales metrics, and other related to funds availability, maximum resource chargeability, cost efficiencies, etc.
Responsible for integrity and accuracy of financial operations and reporting
Responsible for the delivery of accurate reports as may be required by the stakeholders
Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting templates
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT:
Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service by proactively promoting client centricity.
Can resolve critical issues raised during operations and proactively manage and monitor control efficacy to ensure potential risk is minimized
Support ad-hoc analysis to identify root cause of production problems and develop timely solutions
Effectively communicate significant production updates and challenges to team leader as well as to the business unit in a timely manner
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
Must meet current job expectations and consistently achieve defined performance metrics.
Demonstrated strong attendance record with no active or prior disciplinary actions.
Strong technical foundation in accounting, financial reporting, management reporting, and financial analysis, with a solid understanding of the overall business environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI and Alteryx is highly desirable.
Experience or working knowledge of AI-enabled tools and analytics platforms is an advantage.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with leaders, business units, and representatives across divisions and functional departments.
