Today, we are a leading provider of surety solutions to PE firms and their portfolio companies, advising eight of the top ten global mega funds, as well as numerous middle-market sponsors.


Through our Financial Sponsors Practice, we support investment teams across the full investment lifecycle, conducting surety diligence on new acquisitions, structuring and managing surety programs post-close, and analyzing existing portfolio companies to identify opportunities where surety can enhance capital structure efficiency. Given the analytical rigor, clear communication, and close coordination required with both sponsors and portfolio company management teams, we are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to contribute meaningfully to this growing practice.

Role Summary:

This role supports the firm’s growth initiatives through market research, financial analysis, and client-facing support. The analyst works closely with senior team members, underwriters, and clients to assess bonding needs, evaluate credit risk, and support business development efforts within the private equity and financial sponsor ecosystem.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist in the development of customized proposals and presentations for prospective private equity sponsors and portfolio companies
  • Prepare market insights, product overviews, and financial analyses to support client discussions and underwriting submissions
  • Support deal execution and manage deal flow to ensure timely communication and high-quality service delivery
  • Assist senior team members in reviewing client financial statements and assessing credit profiles
  • Conduct market research and support prospecting initiatives around new growth opportunities
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, sponsors, and underwriting partners
  • Develop a working understanding of the surety industry, including underwriting considerations, regulatory requirements, and market trends
  • Participate in ongoing training to deepen industry knowledge and strengthen analytical and business development capabilities

Qualifications Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • 0–3 years of experience in financial services, credit, consulting, or a related analytical role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to impart information clearly in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply 

 Preferred: 

  • Experience with financial statement analysis, credit analysis, or risk management
  • Familiarity with surety, insurance, or underwriting concepts

*This role will be required to be onsite in Philadelphia 3 days per week.
