Summary of the role
The Financial Analyst (m/f/d) primarily supports the European Nordson Industrial Precision Solutions (IPS) business by providing any kind of financial reporting and analysis to help gaining business insights for decision making and to successfully managing the operational, mainly sales oriented Nordson units.

Role and Responsibilities

Preparation of various reports. This refers to all Profit & Loss account positions, inventory, receivables, backlog and headcount.

Provide financial analysis timely and accurately.

Assistance in planning and forecasting activities.

Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate and complete financial records.

Assist in month end and year end closing processes.

Proactively identify weaknesses and provide suggestions for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
-
Ideally bachelor’s degree of economics or equivalent.

Alternatively specialized vocational education with 3 years operating accounting or controlling experience for an international operating company.

Experienced in SAP, strong in Microsoft Excel and data analyses.

Knowledge in IFRS/US GAAP, HGB desirable.

Accurate work style.

Keen perception as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

Service & problem-solving orientation for internal customers.

Good English skills in written and spoken.
