Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team in El Segundo, CA
The selected candidates will join our team to:
- Performs economic research and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements.
- Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management.
- Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment.
- May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit or division.
- Analyzing large allocations for the program
- Interfacing with program finance and program manager for monthly financial forecasts, issues, concerns, and status
- Cross-functional coordination with multiple organizations
- Possess the ability to prepare and provide weekly/monthly analytical reports and tools to support variance/trend analysis, and change control management
This position may be filled at either the Level 2 or Level 3 Financial Analyst depending upon candidates, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.
Level 2 Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree AND 2 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters Degree.
Experience with Excel
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Level 3 Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree AND 5 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience with Excel
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
