Le groupe des finances de Enbridge Gaz Québec cherche à pourvoir un poste destiné à assurer la relève. En tant que membre de l’équipe, le titulaire du poste devra soutenir tous les aspects du cycle comptable, budgétaire et réglementaire de l’entreprise. Vos principales responsabilités consistent à:

  • Participer aux activités de fins de mois, préparer des écritures de journaux, concilier, analyser, expliquer des écarts et produire des rapports financiers liés aux comptes différés et à la conciliation bancaire

  • Préparer, analyser et distribuer les états financiers mensuels et annuels, accompagnés de commentaires

  • Générer les rapports de fin de mois et de fin d’année

  • Analyser les comptes nécessaires à la préparation des états financiers

  • Préparer diverses conciliations de comptes

  • Fournir des données, rapports et analyses ad hoc

  • Coordonner et collaborer à l’audit intérimaire et à l’audit de fin d’année

  • Collaborer à la préparation de dossiers réglementaires

  • Rédiger des décisions relatives aux méthodes comptables basées sur les USGAAP

  • Compléter chaque mois les notes aux états financiers

  • Agir comme remplaçant pour la gestion du reporting fiscal et des écritures fiscales

  • S’assurer qu’un outil amélioré de rapprochement financier est en place chaque mois

  • Examiner les processus financiers afin d’améliorer l’efficience

  • Mettre à jour et développer des outils de modélisation

  • Devenir polyvalent dans l’exécution des tâches de l’équipe des finances.

Exigences et qualifications :

  • Baccalauréat en finances ou administration des affaires et 2 à 4 années d’expérience pertinente.

  • Titre comptable (ou en voie d’obtention) sera considéré un atout

  • La personne dans ce poste doit maîtriser le français. Puisque cette personne devra interagir fréquemment avec des collègues qui ne parlent pas le français, il est exigé que cette personne possède une bonne connaissance de la langue anglaise, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

  • Excellentes capacités d’analyse et de synthèse;

  • Fortes habiletés en communication (orale et écrite) ;

  • Esprit d’équipe et de leadership ;

  • Capacité de travailler de façon autonome à l’intérieur de délais serrés ;

  • Rigoureux et ayant le souci du détail ;

  • Capacité d’assimiler et d’appliquer des concepts théoriques complexes ;

  • Excellente maîtrise de la Suite Microsoft Office et très fortes compétences démontrées avec Excel;

  • Connaissances d’Oracle et Hyperion sont considérées comme un atout.

Enbridge Gaz Québec, the exclusive distributor of natural gas in the Outaouais region and a dynamic and rapidly growing company, is seeking a FINANCIAL ANALYST II.

                                                                                           

The Finance group at Enbridge Gaz Québec is seeking to fill a succession position. As a member of the team, the incumbent will support all aspects of the company's accounting, budgetary, and regulatory cycle. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Participate in month-end activities, prepare journal entries, reconcile, analyze, explain variances, and produce financial reports related to deferred accounts and bank reconciliations

  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly and annual financial statements, accompanied by comments

  • Generate month-end and year-end reports

  • Analyze the accounts necessary for the preparation of financial statements

  • Prepare various account reconciliations

  • Provide data, reports, and ad hoc analyses

  • Coordinate and collaborate on interim and year-end audits

  • Contribute to the preparation of regulatory files

  • Draft accounting policy decisions based on USGAAP

  • Complete financial statement notes each month

  • Act as a backup for tax reporting management and tax entries

  • Ensure that an improved financial reconciliation tool is in place each month

  • Review financial processes to improve efficiency

  • Update and develop modeling tools

  • Become versatile in the execution of Finance Team tasks.
     

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration and 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

  • A professional accounting designation (or in the process of obtaining one) will be considered an asset.

  • The person in this position must be fluent in French. Since this person will frequently interact with colleagues who do not speak French, a good command of English, both spoken and written, is also required.

  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written);

  • Team spirit and leadership;

  • Ability to work independently within tight deadlines;

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented;

  • Ability to assimilate and apply complex theoretical concepts;

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite and very strong skills with Excel;

  • Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion considered an asset.
