The Financial Analyst II will support corporate financial decisions through the implementation and performance of analysis of multiple sources of financial and operational data, which includes but is not limited to corporate strategic planning support, forecasts, capital budgeting/forecasting, employee productivity and efficiency, business case support and analysis, and provision of recommendations based upon analyses performed. This position will be responsible for implementing and applying accounting, analytical and problem-solving methods to help develop, implement, and maintain effective financial models. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for implementing and performing analytics and data mining to identify revenue opportunities, performance trends, cost efficiencies, and other items which support corporate or horizontal objectives. This position will assist organizational leadership in financial analysis designed to develop strategic and tactical management procedures to support the financial goals for each line of business. The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for developing and providing post-project analysis and create reporting updates to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and outcomes. Job Details:

Develop long-range analyses, forecasts, and reports supporting corporate strategic plan.

Develop short-term forecasts and provide revenue/expense comparisons and tracking of key metrics.

Develop and provide reports, analyses, and key performance indicators to assist in monitoring and achieving productivity and profitability.

Assemble and analyze historical financial data; identify trends and ensure they are incorporated into short- and long-term forecasts. Develop understanding of business drivers and the impacts changes have on the results.

Implement process and provide decision support for sales process and monitor closed sales for comparison to expected results.

Implement and manage capital project planning process, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on items as they move through the process. Monitor and report on predicted vs. actual ROIs for all items.

Maintain and execute advanced financial models and reporting solutions.

Generate innovative approaches to address business problems.

Extract, create, organize, utilize, and interpret data from general ledger, forecasting, and reporting software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts for analytical and modeling purposes.

Demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and priorities.

Job Requirements:

BS/BA Degree required in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

Three to six years of analysis (financial, business, data, operational, or statistical) experience required.

Must be able to obtain government clearance after hire. US Citizenship is required by the US government in order to obtain government clearance.

Previous accounting experience with broad accounting/finance knowledge; strong knowledge of financial concepts and processes such as budgeting, capital budgeting/planning, forecasting, and report preparation.

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and its applications in accounting, budgeting, and finance.

Experience with ERP or high-level accounting, forecasting, analytic, and reporting systems, preferred.

Advanced experience in Microsoft products, such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, required.

Excellent written, oral and collaboration skills.
-
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Builds relationships and works well across functions.
The pay range for this position is $59,000-$70,000/year. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
