Financial Analyst II

Role Type: Full time
Salary: $63,750 - $90,000 per year + annual performance-based bonus
Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Summary:
The Analyst will play a critical role in providing financial insights and support the financial performance of various departments within the Operations and Technology solutions group. This role involves close collaboration with business unit executives, and other stakeholders to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Provide financial guidance and support to drive decision-making, performance improvement, and cost management.
Offer insights into financial trends and operational performance.
Help develop and implement financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance Business Support function.
Leverage technology and automation to streamline financial planning and reporting processes.
Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to best practices in financial management.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in Accounting, Finance or another related field is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in FP&A, finance, or business analysis role
Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills preferred
Highly motivated with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline-oriented work environment
Advanced proficiency in the use of business applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with financial reporting and general ledger applications tools is required, experience with Workday Financials a plus.
Must have acute attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Prior financial services industry experience required (wealth management, investment management, broker-dealer, insurance, banking, specialty finance)
