Job Description
In this postion you will be the subject matter expert for IFRS to ensure compliant interpretation and implementation of reporting and consolidation guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS for the Home Comfort subgroup.
- Oversee the consolidation process including intercompany eliminations, capital/debt consolidation, profit elimination and recognition of subgroup items for the Home Comfort subgroup.
- Stay updated on changes in IFRS accounting standards. Implement and interpret IFRS Bosch Group guidelines for the Home Comfort subgroup and ensure compliance in the consolidation process.
- Take full responsibility for a set of IFRS standards for the Home Comfort subgroup. Review and approve material journal entries.
- Serve as the main contact for auditors and internal departments across all Home Comfort companies, both national and international in own area of responsibility.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in the consolidation and reporting process. Implement best practices and enhancements to streamline consolidation activities.
- Optimize the consolidation system to support efficient consolidation processes.
- Collaborate with the Finance and IT teams to implement best practices and enhancements to streamline consolidation activities.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to the HC finance community for IFRS.
- Assist with projects focused on IFRS financial reporting and consolidation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position
- Strong IFRS accounting knowledge
- Strong understanding and experience working with consolidation tools ((e.g., OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management, SAP BCS, S/4 Group Reporting), SAP-FI, MS Office (esp. Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with affinity for financial IT tools
