The Opportunity

As Slice continues to grow and evolve, supporting the business from a finance perspective becomes increasingly more vital. We need an individual to join our small, but mighty, FP&A team to help support the organization's plan for future success, providing day-to-day reporting and actionable insights to ensure the business is making the best decisions along the way.

The Role

Our Financial Analyst, FP&A will play a meaningful role in supporting our G&A and R&D functions here at Slice. This individual will contribute to the annual and quarterly budgeting process, providing analytical support related to expenses and headcount planning to budget holders across the respective functions. Additionally, we expect this person to provide internal and external reporting needs on an ongoing and ad hoc basis. 

We are seeking an analyst who can partner closely with key business stakeholders to understand detailed drivers of the business, identify efficiencies, and perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support investment decisions. This individual will have the opportunity to create financial models, presentations, and dashboards for senior finance leadership and executive teams with actionable insights.

We’re looking for creative, entrepreneurial team members who are excited to help the finance team build meaningful partnerships across the organization and provide meaningful insights which will ultimately drive better business decisions. These are the core competencies this role calls for:

• 2-3 years of quantitative or highly analytical work experience, ideally in the financial, accounting, consulting or technology industries
• BA or BS with a finance, accounting or quantitative focus
• Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to build 3-statement financial models with detailed buildups 
• Exposure to one or more major Cloud based SaaS EPM applications (i.e. Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• This position can be based remotely in EST or CST timezones
• Basic knowledge in SQL and at least one data visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, etc.) is a highly valuable asset

Salary Range: $80-120k + benefits
