Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst Support professional with exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to uncover meaningful insights from complex financial data.
In this role, you will provide financial analysis and program support to federal customers through reporting, forecasting, budgeting, reconciliation, financial modeling, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and strategic decision support.
What You'll Do
- Analyze financial data, trends, variances, and discrepancies across federal programs
- Reconcile financial records and coordinate with Financial Management (FM) stakeholders
- Support budget formulation, forecasting, and execution in accordance with OMB guidance and federal regulations
- Develop financial models to evaluate program investments, cost-benefit outcomes, and lifecycle costs
- Assess financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies related to funding, contracts, and program execution
- Conduct market research and pricing analysis to support acquisition planning and cost estimating
- Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations, including GAAP, FAR, DFARS, and FIAR requirements
- Support audit readiness efforts through documentation, analysis, and remediation activities
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations for government stakeholders
- Utilize Excel, Power BI, and federal reporting systems to analyze, visualize, and communicate financial information
- Promote data integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement in financial reporting
What You Bring
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 2-4 years of professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or related disciplines
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other financial reporting tools
- Ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting federal government programs is preferred
