Job Description Summary:

ModMed is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision making.

Your Role:

  • Analyze business and financial data.

  • Build and maintain financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision making.

  • Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.

  • Perform variance analysis vs budget and forecast, and present results to Leadership.

  • Partner with General Managers and other executives for ad-hoc and recurring analyses.

  • Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends.

  • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience as a financial analyst, accountant, auditor, or data/programmer analyst OR valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and legendary “team player” mindset.

  • Experience with forecasting and/or budgeting, along with variance analysis.

  • Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Thorough understanding of methods of financial analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) business preferred, but not required

  • Experience with Anaplan, DOMO, Salesforce, VBA, Power Query and/or DOMO preferred but not required.
