Job Description
JPMorgan Asset & Wealth Management Finance and Business Management ("Asset & Wealth Management Finance & Business Management") has a new opening for a Financial Manager based in Plano, TX. This position will report directly to the head of planning & analysis for Asset and Wealth Management technology and will support the Global Private Bank, specifically the U.S. Private Bank technology team. Asset and Wealth Management Technology Finance is an integral part of a larger Finance and Business Management organization that supports the Chief Information Officer and respective organization within the Asset & Wealth Management Line of Business at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
As a Financial Analysis Vice President within the Asset & Wealth Management Finance and Business Management team, you will play a crucial role in influencing business outcomes and challenging performance. You will be responsible for core financial discipline, organizational health, and location strategy. This role provides an opportunity to analyze financials, produce various financial and management reports, and lead internal reviews. You will also collaborate with various functional partners to achieve business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a global environment and handle complex initiatives.
Job responsibilities:

  • Analyze financials to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to improve
  • Analyze and/or produce various monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial and management reporting deliverables; creation and dissemination of ad-hoc reports as directed by senior management
  • Navigate, interpret and analyze data sets and prepare insightful presentations for business reviews and senior management meetings
  • Execute analytical ad-hoc requests and support various stakeholders
  • Lead internal reviews and assessments across the organization to determine business and financial choices
  • Serve as a trusted advisor while making data-driven decisions and recommendations to the business
  • Collaborate with functional partners including Business Management, Global Technology, and Finance teams to achieve business objectives


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Proficiency in financial analysis and management
  • Able to handle complex initiatives in a global environment
  • Experience in strategic planning, issue resolution and negotiation and skills in oral and written communication, and presenting to senior level management
  • Self-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilities
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience


Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Essbase, SAP, Tableau, Alteryx
  • 6+ years working experience in financial management / accounting environment with previous experience supporting Technology organizations
