The purpose of this role
Help to keep the organization honest in relation to the Digital Dividend and progress of Strategic Technology Investments.
The outcome is to ensure that the organization makes investment decisions based on an arm’s length validation of the benefits coming from technology investments.
A crucial part of the role is navigating a complex matrix organization and stakeholder landscape to have an aligned view on the platform roadmap, progress and outcomes of the technology development.
Key Responsibilities:- Vetting of Tech investment proposals prior to approval (to ensure they meet Maersk investment analysis standards regarding success criteria, outcomes and financial benefits) and provide an arm’s length assessment to support decision making.
- Support and advise investment owners in articulating the Business Case documentation, establishing a direct data link from the tech enablement to the outcomes and financial modelling of benefits; ahead of investment approval and prioritization of strategic initiatives during the annual Operational Planning (OP) process
- Co-create tech investment benefit cases using the value map framework, facilitating the discussion to be data driven with tangible metrics, as well as ensuring sign-off of benefits from P&L owner (ELT-1)
- On investment approval, liaise with Business FBPs to ensure that validated Digital Dividends are locked into financial planning processes (Budget/Business Plans)
- Identify and prioritise relevant metrics and appropriate data sources in the value map to enable tracking of financial benefits
- Support the FP&A team to define and report the Page0 metrics
- Track and report on financial benefits from ongoing Tech investments quarterly to the ECR.
- In case of investment changes or Platform roadmap changes, provide input to the overall recalculation of value, ensure P&L owner sign-off and continuous updates to the related tracking mechanisms
- Support the continuous improvement of the standard framework and implement new solutions for articulating investments, tracking, monitoring and harvesting the benefits
- Support the Enterprise Change Operating System with adherence to the Governance process for tech investments as well as provide input for continuous improvement
- Own and maintain the VR dashboard in coordination with the Performance Management team and maintain the VR reporting tracker on behalf of the VR team.

· Master's degree in finance or economics and relevant work experience
· Strong Business Partnering skills with an interest in Technology
· Analytical mind-set and good problem-solving skills
· Good planning and execution skills, ensuring effective and timely delivery
· Adaptable with ability to keep calm under stress and deliver quality on time
· Proactive and capable of working in a result-oriented environment
