Seeking a strategic thinker with a highly collaborative mindset to join our high performing Product & Segments team. Our team provides a strategic partnership to the cross-functional Product and Segment teams to provide financial rigor around planning for growth, reporting performance and developing enhanced analysis. This Vice President position sits within Consumer Banking finance and reports through the Consumer Deposit Product Profitability Vice President (VP), with a specific focus on savings product enablement, profitability analysis, partner reporting, and revenue forecasting. 

As a Financial Analyst Vice President within Consumer Banking finance, you will be the primary finance partner for a newly established Product team within Consumer Bank. You will own the end-to-end P&L for this product, and will be responsible for monitoring and tracking budget, forecast, and actuals of our co-branded deposit P&Ls while providing business case input and financial analysis to understand drivers of profitability for deposit products and services. This role partners closely with deposit product teams and cross-LOB finance teams. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary finance point of contact for co-branded deposit P&Ls
  • Develop monthly reporting on drivers, fees and deposit services
  • Develop profitability and P&L scenario frameworks
  • Develop frameworks to provide driver metrics and financial inputs for business cases to support investment in the business
  • Conduct variance analysis and explain results in a clear and concise manner
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships across the business

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or related field
  • 6+ years of financial analysis / FP&A type function or equivalent
  • Constant curiosity with keen attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of P&L drivers to apply thoughtful and concise approach to variance analysis
  • Experience owning and presenting senior executive level communications
  • Organized problem solver with a collaborative mindset and strong critical thinking skills
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and business partners
  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Highly productive with ability to multi-task and work effectively to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong technical ability with advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Hyperion Essbase and SAP

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Knowledge of data tools (e.g., SQL, Data Bricks, Snowflake)
  • Experience in Tableau and Alteryx a plus

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
