Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join the Financial Aid team. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Director of Financial Aid. This position requires some evening and Saturday hours.
The Financial Aid Advisor always provides high-level customer service to prospective students and students regarding the financial aid process. Assists with gathering information on potential students to ensure a trouble-free student financial aid and processing system; presents initial financial aid package, and performs routine clerical, office, and data entry tasks. Adheres to established company and department policies and procedures and maintains excellent customer service standards in accordance with the mission and purpose of the organization.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
- Must not have any National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) restrictions.
- 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
