We are seeking an experienced accounting/finance specialist, preferably with healthcare experience, who can truly hit the ground running with our team. This individual should have a strong understanding of JVs, the ability to think critically and independently about expenses when doing reconciliations, and be highly organized and attentive to detail.
The Financial Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting the Financial Accounting function to include but not limited to month-end closing processing, general ledger review and reconcilement, tracking cash activities from bank statements, reports and/or daily cash transactions.
The Financial Accounting Specialist provides technical assistance to other personnel.

Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the accounting field.
Previous experience with a personal computer and various software applications to include spreadsheets, databases, word processing, etc. and automated accounting systems.
Experience PREFERRED:
Previous general ledger work experience.
Education/training REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED:
Associate's Degree in Accounting from an accredited program.
Independent action(s) required:
Reviews and evaluates transactions to determine compliance with written policies and procedures.
Determines account valuations when reconciling balance sheet accounts and proposed adjustments when necessary.
Serves as technical and operational resource/contact for areas of expertise or responsibility.
