We’re looking for a driven and detail-focused Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Perth. Key Performance Outputs
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements
- Maintain general ledger accuracy through journal entry review and approvals
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and stock movements across sites
- Ensure inventory and budgetary adjustments are reflected appropriately
- Review and correct GL allocations; assess provision and accrual needs
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register; run monthly depreciation
- Conduct on-site verification of stock counts with farm-based teams
- Draft dashboard reporting and assist with cash flow analysis for Treasury
- Support BAS, ATO returns, and assist with external audits
- Investigate outstanding purchase orders and system discrepancies
- Cross-check and release creditors’ payments
- Manage and evaluate foreign currency transactions and balance
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (essential)
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently enrolled and
progressing toward certification (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial
accounting or similar role
- Valid Australian driver’s license
- Willingness to travel to farm sites within WA
(day travel)
- This is a
split role, typically spending part of the week in the Perth office and part
on-site at farms within day-travel distance
Functional / Technical
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite advantageous)
- Ability to work across complex, multi-site environments (agribusiness experience a plus)
- High attention to detail with strong analytical capability

Skills Required
