Financial Accountant

• Produce statutory accounts for Group Holding and Logistics companies
• Own the end-to-end preparation of statutory accounts across multiple legal entities
• Review balance sheets to ensure compliance with accounting standards and identify control improvements
• Ensure SOX compliance across all relevant financial processes
• Act as the main point of contact for auditors across multiple entities
• Stay up to date with accounting standards, company law, and apply these across reporting
• Deliver ad-hoc technical accounting projects and financial reviews
• Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and manual journal entries
• Build strong working relationships across Shared Services, EMEA, Corporate Controllership and tax teams
• Month end close support through financial analysis
• Report creation
• Support wider projects as required

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Proven experience producing complex statutory accounts across multiple entities
• High proficiency in SAP and Excel
• Background within a Top 20 accounting firm (desirable)
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to navigate challenges with energy, enthusiasm, and creativity
• Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and remote teams
