About you: 

As a General Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate

financial records, ensuring compliance and contributing to financial

reporting processes. Your responsibilities will include journal entries,

reconciliations, financial analysis and participation in month end and year

end closing activities. You will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and

a solid grasp of accounting principles. Effective team work will also be

central to thriving in this role.

Day-to-day, you will: 

  • Prepare and post journal entries to accurately record financial transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Conduct regular reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

Your skills and experiences might also include: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA or similar certification is advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles, standards and practices – with an emphasis on general accounting functions.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel – with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and variances, you’ll be self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities.
