What you'll be doing:
- A Financial Accountant is responsible for running the accounting and financial activities for Premier Research.
- Producing monthly management accounts according to US GAAP.
- Providing transactional detail to ‘in country accountants’ to produce their local statutory accounts.
- Taking care of the accounting aspects of several legal entities within Premier Research Group.
- Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
- Tax compliance
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
- Applies accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including the production of journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Performs financial calculations to support financial transactions relating to cash, pre-payments, accruals, fixed assets, costs and others when needed.
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
- Examining financial records to check for accuracy
- Managing and training when necessary
- Supports to Finance Manager for central tasks when applicable
- Participates in corporate initiatives and actions that ensure the continued success of the company
What we are searching for:
- A degree and experience in the financial field, a recognized professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) would be desirable.
- Prior experience using computerized information systems preferred.
- Works with internal and external customers/vendors to meet project specific goals.
- Experience in dealing with local tax authorities.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
