As a Financial Accountant (d/f/m) your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Monitoring AP/AR cycles, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Coordinating the financial reporting of subsidiaries and perform consolidation processes
  • Analyzing financial data and provide insights to management on performance and financial health
  • Maintaining and improving accounting policies, processes, and internal controls
  • Ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or in Business Administration with a corresponding focus.
  • At least two years of working experience in an audit firm
  • Very good knowledge of accounting principles (HGB & IFRS or US-GAAP) and financial statements
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP (ideally, NetSuite)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in German & English) to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse large sets of data
  • High sense of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Continuous improvement & development mindset always looking for ways to enhance processes and efficiency, and a never stop growing mentality
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
