Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or local equivalent)
Accreditation: Specific Business Accreditation
Language: Proficiency in English
Experience: Four (4) year experience in Payroll or related fields, specifically in the development and implementation of accounting principles and Payroll procedures
Key Activities / Accountabilities
- Liaise with Payroll outsourcing vendor ensure timely delivery of services in line with payroll cycles and accurate payment to the employees.
- Participate in regular service/ production call with the Payroll Outsourcing vendor.
- Accurately process and reconcile payroll data for employees on a timely basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and overtime, accurately reflecting these changes in payroll calculations.
- Prepare the relevant journal entries and execute the reports related to payroll.
- Month-end closing activities: Review the payroll journal entries, reconcile payroll, statutory contribution, Compensation tax and C&B accrual versus what recorded in Oracle Financial Cloud system.
- Act as the key point of contact and support for local, regional, and global Payroll taxation & statutory contribution matters.
- Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries from employees, addressing concerns and providing assistance as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk for the organization.
- Assist in the implementation of new payroll software or systems, providing input on functionality and participating in user testing and training initiatives.
- Prepare data and document for internal, external and tax audits.
- Ensure all documentations related to Payroll/ Accounting payroll, including tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits information are stored as per the retention rules.
- Retirement plan application for tax exemption.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
