Job Description:
The Role:
This position is responsible for producing Management accounts and assisting the business to implement efficient and diligent financial practices.
What you’ll do:
Job Responsibilities

Monthly Management accounts (including US & local GAAP reporting, SOX compliance), Annual Financial Statements.

Operational controlling, planning and analysis for our business in-country, strong focus on business development but also cost- and budget control to ensure a high profitability.

Support stakeholders across the functions, production of budgets and forecasts.

Data evaluation, analyzing and giving context of monthly and quarterly reporting (including incentives calculations).

Business partnering within functional and brand teams.
-
Interface between operational units, functions and the International Finance Departments in EMEA and the US.

Improve processes for optimization and efficiency in both finance and controlling.

Local contact for third-party accountants, auditors and tax consultants, banks, leasing partners, authorities and insurance companies etc.

Participate in the expansion and optimization of existing controlling instruments.
-
Aid in the implementation of a new ERP system.
-
Project works, ad hoc tasks.

Other duties as assigned.
What you need to know:
Experience/Skills/Education
Required:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).

3–5 years’ experience as Accountant, preferably in a similar industry.

Strong analytical and conceptual skills, ability to define new standardized processes.
-
Hands-on mentality and work ethic.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.

Accurate, structured, independent and self-reliant way of working.
-
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high commitment, manage resources, and effectively meet critical deadlines; natural curiosity for problem solving.

Advanced knowledge in MS-Office, Planning and Reporting software tools.

Fluency in English and local language a must (French or German or Spanish).
Desired:

Beauty or aesthetics industry experience.

Experience with Oracle-NetSuite.

- Schnittstelle zwischen operativen Einheiten, Funktionen und den internationalen Finanzabteilungen in EMEA und den USA.
- Verbesserung von Prozessen zur Optimierung und Effizienz in den Bereichen Finanzen und Controlling.
- Lokaler Ansprechpartner für externe Buchhalter, Prüfer, Steuerberater, Banken, Leasingpartner, Behörden und Versicherungen.
- Mitwirkung bei der Erweiterung und Optimierung bestehender Controlling-Instrumente.
- Unterstützung bei der Implementierung eines neuen ERP-Systems.
- Projektarbeit und ad-hoc-Aufgaben.
- Weitere Aufgaben nach Bedarf.
Was Sie mitbringen sollten:
Erfahrung/Fähigkeiten/Ausbildung
Erforderlich:
- Bachelor-Abschluss in Rechnungswesen oder Finanzen oder gleichwertige Qualifikation (z. B. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- 3–5 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Buchhalter, idealerweise in einer ähnlichen Branche.
- Starke analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit, standardisierte Prozesse zu definieren.
- Hands-on-Mentalität und eine starke Arbeitsmoral.
- Hervorragende zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, starke Arbeitsbeziehungen aufzubauen.
- Präzise, strukturierte, unabhängige und selbstständige Arbeitsweise.
- Fähigkeit, mehrere Prioritäten in einer schnelllebigen Umgebung mit hohem Engagement zu bewältigen, Ressourcen effektiv zu verwalten und wichtige Fristen einzuhalten; natürliche Neugier zur Problemlösung.
- Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in MS-Office sowie in Planungs- und Berichterstattungstools.
- Fließende Englischkenntnisse und Kenntnisse in der lokalen Sprache (Deutsch, Französisch oder Spanisch).
Wünschenswert:
- Erfahrung in der Beauty- oder Ästhetikbranche.
- Erfahrung mit Oracle-NetSuite.
