Overview:
Reporting to the Manager for Control + Compliance, the candidate will be responsible for Statutory Accounts and Technical accounting
Job Responsibilities:
The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:
- Statutory accounts preparation. This includes 14 statutory entities and 6 dormant entities in the UK and Ireland.
- Group accounts and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries
- Posting and maintenance of leases in compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Maintaining a strict controls process to ensure compliance with internal policies
- Posting of tax entries
- Assessment of technical accounting measures as they arise and implementation of any new accounting standards
- Support Finance team with closing out of any Internal Audit matters
- Provide support to foreign subsidiaries with any technical accounting issues
- Company secretarial duties
- Ad hoc projects /tasks as required
Job Skills & Experience Required:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:
Qualifications:
- Newly qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Skill & Experience:
- Have good technical knowledge of US GAAP and FRS102 standards
- Knowledge of Caseware software
- Be able to work with a complex accounting package
- Be proficient in excel at an advanced level
