Businessolver is growing and is looking to add a Financial Accountant to our team. We are looking for an experienced accounting professional that is looking to continue their career with an innovative and growing company. The Gig:

  • Adherence to the department’s policies and procedures
  • Maintains and produces accounting records in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
  • Manage daily cash activities and cash reconciliations
  • Oversee the vendor bill approval process and vendor payments.
  • Assist with the purchasing card administration process including coding of transactions at month end.
  • Performs month-end, quarterly, and annual financial close work including account reconciliations, accruals and deferrals, and related journal entries requiring judgment and compliance to US GAAP.
  • Assists in the preparation of financial schedules and related support for audits.
  • Regular professional correspondence with internal teams as well as with vendors.
  • Analyzes financial information and delivers value-added business insights in support of management’s decision making
  • Responsible for special short-term and long-term projects as assigned

What you need to make the cut:

  • 1-2 years professional accounting experience in a corporate environment and/or public accounting, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) required
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills required
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work with a large amount of data and possess strong Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Problem solving abilities – ability to work with others to arrive at solutions and a willingness to tackle challenges not previously faced by the Company
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Readiness and flexibility to change priorities as new developments arise

The pay range for this position is 50K to 65K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).
