ANGARAI is seeking a FinanceOps & Compliance Associate to support and manage end-to-end financial operations, accounting processes, expense management, invoicing, and compliance using the Zoho Finance Suite as the single system of record. This role supports both ANGARAI INDIA and ANGARAI (USA) and operates in alignment with U.S. EST business hours.
This role plays a critical role in supporting ANGARAI’s financial governance, operational discipline, data integrity, audit readiness, and continuous improvement, ensuring accurate financial records, compliant accounting practices, and structured financial operations across entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial and accounting operations for ANGARAI INDIA and Angarai International Inc.(USA)
- Maintain accurate books of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, categorized, and documented in Zoho Books
- Zoho Finance Suite Ownership (System of Record)
- Own and manage the Zoho Finance Suite as the official System of Record within Zoho Books, Zoho Expense, and other Zoho Finance modules
- Track and manage expenses, reimbursements, vendor bills, invoices, payments, and receipts
- Ensure consistent usage, data accuracy, and documentation across all finance systems
- Manage customer invoicing, collections follow-ups, and revenue tracking
- Oversee employee expense submissions and approvals through Zoho Expense
- Coordinate vendor payments, expense controls, and cost tracking
- Compliance, Closing & Audit Readiness
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
- Ensure finance processes are standardized, well-documented, and audit-ready
- Assist with statutory, internal, and external audits as required
- Maintain compliance with Indian and U.S. accounting practices (as applicable)
- Generate and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and summaries for leadership review
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning initiatives
- Maintain structured financial documentation, SOPs, and process workflows
- Cross-Entity Coordination & Controls
- Coordinate finance operations across India and U.S. entities, ensuring consistency and alignment
- Implement and maintain role-based access controls, approvals, and segregation of duties within Zoho Finance systems
- Collaborate with HR, ICT, and leadership teams to strengthen financial governance and system controls
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of mandatory hands-on experience using the Zoho Finance ecosystem, including:
- Zoho Books – accounting, invoicing, reconciliations, reporting
- Zoho Expense – expense tracking, reimbursements, approvals
- Zoho Finance Suite – integrated financial operations
- Availability to work across U.S. and India time zones, with timing and overlap discussed and adjusted as needed
- Strong documentation, reporting, and process-driven mindset, with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and organizational information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with leadership, hiring managers, and candidates
- Proven experience in finance operations, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Hands-on exposure to multi-entity or international finance operations (India / USA preferred)
- Experience supporting financial closing, audits, and compliance activities

Skills Required
- Minimum 1 year hands-on experience using the Zoho Finance ecosystem (Zoho Books, Zoho Expense, Zoho Finance Suite)
