About this opportunity

Develop strategic and execute tactical insurance risk management operations in support of the overall vision and long-term goals of Align. Support foreign exchange operations and settlements.

In this role, you will

Insurance and Risk Management

Annual Renewal Program

• Collect, analyze, and organize data for global insurance renewal program submissions
• Collaborate with internal partners to prepare comprehensive presentation materials in support of underwriter renewal meeting activities

Facilities

• Coordinate with regional offices to plan annual plant tours and to collect, correct and respond to annual insurance inspection recommendations
• Supports the facility and security departments to help identify property risks and ensure on-going compliance with all insurance obligations

Technology

• Lead the development of risk management tools and systems to manage information required for efficient day to day operations including policy, claims, program costs and carrier data Claims

• Liaison for claims management process between company, insurance broker and underwriters
• Provide timely notification of claims to insurance carriers and actively work each claim to closure with carriers
• Manage the company's Insurance losses and reporting including understanding and reviewing loss runs, accruals for deductibles, internal reporting and metrics, or similar functions

Administration

• Works with the company's insurance brokers to respond to requests for certificates of insurance
• Ensure vendor compliance for all sites by collecting Certificate of Insurance and verifying coverage

Foreign Exchange Support

• Coordinate with cash management team to settle hedges, manage inter-company transactions, ensure adequate funding and execute FX trades to support cash needs
• Prepare monthly and quarter-end foreign exchange analysis and reporting
• Operate in a hands-on capacity with the Foreign Exchange system for trade and wire entry, approval and exception processing

In this role, you'll need

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferably in the field of Finance or Risk Management.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive Treasury or Risk Management experience, either in a corporate insurance, technology or financial services company with global presence.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft business applications including Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams and experience with Treasury software, such as SAP, Kyriba, FXAll and Clearwater Analytic.
• Must be creative and demonstrate innovative thinking in responding to challenges presented by a rapidly evolving business model and regulatory environment.
• Must have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively, collaborate and present to all levels of management, internal and external audiences.
• Exceptionally organized and solid project management skills with the capability to understand competing priorities.
