FLASH is seeking a Staff Accountant reporting to the Revenue Manager, who will perform and manage recurring daily, weekly, and monthly billing and revenue related activities in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring appropriate financial controls and compliance with local GAAP. This person will be detail oriented, dedicated and embrace the challenges a fast-growing organization brings.

What You'll Do:

  • Process and manage all weekly customer billings for ad-hoc shipments and customer service calls
  • Receive and apply customer payments and deposits
  • Process recurring customer payments and update current process
  • Reconcile and enter cash transactions 
  • Assisting with accurate and timely review and analysis of financial statements/reports for both subsidiaries and at the corporate level
  • Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations, including various intercompany accounts and flux analysis
  • Identify, research, and advise the team regarding new and/or non-recurring transactions in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
  • Providing information to outside tax preparers, auditors, and state agencies to prepare annual and quarterly federal and state returns, and audits
  • Reviewing, investigating, and correcting errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
  • Conducting studies and submitting recommendations for improving accounting processes, procedures, controls, and systems
  • Assist in the integration, mapping, and consolidation of subsidiaries and support future M&A initiatives as needed

What You Have:

  • At least 3+ years of related experience required
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a plus
  • Experience in cash applications, software as a service, or manufacturing a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite (or other similar ERP) a plus
  • Experience with Concur and/ or Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment; ability to collaborate with team members to meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/assist others Strong computer and analytical skills including proficiency in Excel
  • Good organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to hard deadlines
