Responsibilities
Reporting to Director FP&A, the Sr. Manager FP&A Systems has two main areas of focus. The first area of focus will support the Finance Department in playing a key role in all planning, reporting and analysis for the network as well as operational responsibility supporting the various internal stakeholders, like Sales and Operations, in their day-to-day finance needs. The other area of focus is on systems enhancement and innovation. Responsible for the development, implementation and roll out of multiple projects in the finance team for Latin America. Responsible for researching and understanding key trends in the financial landscape, evaluating various opportunities and delving deep into the operations of NBCUniversal International Networks

Job Duties

FP&A Responsibilities

  • Provide support for all strategic and financial planning cycles - Long Range Plans, budget, estimates (May, August and October), prepare templates, data upload and variance analysis
  • Responsible to manage team of Financial Analysts contributing to the financial planning and day to day needs.
  • Support quarterly close process, lead exercises, identify risks and opportunities accuracy of periodic financial reporting
  • Drive improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A team
  • Closely collaborate with team reporting on all deliverables towards our JV partners to ensure accuracy of periodic financial reporting
  • Assist in identifying business risks and opportunities and incorporating them in the monthly forecasts
  • Special projects (i.e.; investment business cases), & ad hoc analysis as required by management
  • Maintenance of reports such as BPC updates (planning consolidation modules)
  • In charge of monthly pacing; reforecasting what has been planned.
  • Field an increased volume of information requests from both the business and corporate areas. This includes assuring accuracy of reports, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Use analytical skills to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Provide support specifically to the programming for original production of E! Entertainment. This includes providing support on spending and budgeting.
  • Maintain communication with the HUB department and ensure needs are met and fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively with the London HQ on all financial matters

Systems Responsibilities:

  • Implement and develop agenda for continuous systems enhancement and innovations such as: Roll out of sales & distribution modules, Automate solution for SAP inventory management module, test integration/interfaces between SAP and an external application and E Billing solutions
  • Understand business requirements of the organization.
  • Validate the reports requirements and any changes in customize.
  • Manage project budget and cash flow tracking costs and timing of future expenditures
  • Develop, interpret, analyze and implement complex business strategies
  • Create timelines for the implementation of all new initiatives
  • Able to run analyses that are highly complex and works independently navigating through any roadblocks.
  • Provide mentoring and training to analysts on reports, systems and financial process flow
  • Conduct additional financial analysis, projects and tasks as assigned
  • Special projects (i.e.; investment business cases), & ad hoc analysis as required by management

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred• Minimum 5 years' experience in a managerial or finance/accounting role. experience in SAP implementations and interfaces or an equivalent combination of education and experience• Advanced to Expert skill in Microsoft Excel and high level of proficiency in PowerPoint • Good working knowledge of systems such as SAP, BW, BPC, SMART, SNAP, Tableau• Language: Fluent in English & Spanish
