Sr. Financial Analyst
Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the Pharmaceutical Services Group (PSG). This role will assist the Sr Finance Manager in supporting the PSG leadership team to provide financial planning, analysis, and consolidated reporting support. This position offers the right candidate an opportunity for career development and growth while supporting a growing and dynamic business to achieve its financial objectives. This person will work proactively across the PSG Group to lead change and ensure effective and efficient processes for decision support. In addition, this individual will anticipate and understand business needs throughout the group and help drive standardization and enhanced visibility throughout the organization to optimize results.
Key Responsibilities
Support the PSG organization. Some of the activities for this position are:
- Own and focus on process improvement (PPI)
- Assist in process management for AOP, STRAP, MBR/QBR
- Partner with corporate and all levels within the group to lead change
- Ensure corporate submission are timely and accurate
- Consolidated Group reporting and analytics
- Systems reports development
- Lead process standardization initiatives to drive improved insights
- Revenue/Standard Margin analysis & Product line reporting
- Process map development and identification of tools to drive robust & efficient processes
- Ad-hoc requests
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Communicates clearly and effectively with colleagues from different functions, regions, and background
- Conceptualize solutions and execute to final state
- Ability to Interface in a fast paced, dynamic environment with all levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task and work in a flexible environment
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Possesses initiative, enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity, and a questioning/positive attitude
Minimum Qualifications (must have):
- BA Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related disciplines
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across the organization
- Strong skills in MS Excel
- Strong understanding of systems/reporting technology and Hyperion Planning
