Micron's Global Communications and Marketing team is seeking a Senior Operations Financial Analyst. The successful candidate is a detail-oriented, ambitious self-starter that will be responsible for leading the finance responsibilities for Micron's marketing organization. This role will liaison with Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Legal and other clients across Micron to drive budget rigor and alignment across the org. The responsibilities include maintaining the monthly budget reconciliation process and ensuring timely, accurate entry of budget numbers into the system, overall budget management, PO generation, invoice processing, vendor onboarding, travel requests, documentation and refinement of processes, and reporting.
Experience working in a multinational, fast-paced culture where balancing multiple tasking and prioritizing are key to having success. This position also requires that the individual be operations-centric that excels at developing and implementing systemic approaches for efficiency and repeatability. Analytically-minded, with a passion for data and advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Drive budget rigor including refinement and education of finance processes.
• Reconcile monthly operating budgets, produce, and share financial reports with the senior management team, cost center mangers and Finance.
• Prepare agendas, data, and analysis for monthly and quarterly budget meetings and manage schedules with cost center managers to the cadence established by Finance.
• Liaise with our vendors and suppliers on procurement processes.
• Liaise with AP and supplier/vendors on invoice reconciliation and misc. accounting issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to new vendor qualification, statements of work, master services agreements, and NDAs.
• Manage PO generation, invoice processing, and team member travel/training requests.
• Provide direction and guidance to internal teams to achieve budget targets.
• Identify problems in day-to-day processes and resolve them in a quick and timely manner.
• Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations.
• Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance
• 5-7+ years' experience in a fast-paced, high-tech industry
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Ariba, SAP, Power BI experience a plus
• Working-level knowledge of Workfront is a plus
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
• Excellent communication and time management skills
