Role Description:
We are looking for a talented, self-directed, Applications leader to manage business systems analysts on the Business Technology Application team. This is an amazing opportunity to make an impact being strategic financial systems partner working with key finance and business stakeholders, process owners, technology partners to drive finance systems and process transformation. This position will play an integral role in objectively guiding business partners and in integration of Slack Workday Financials systems to Salesforce.

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting business partners to develop, automate, and implement tools to support financial close, reporting, and transaction processing.
• Work with various business partners to understand the project roadmap and assess current challenges. You will participate in providing and implementing solutions using both existing technologies and evaluate emerging tools.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to document and re-engineer current processes for Q2C systems while continuously identifying gaps and possibilities for automation.
• Be a system owner for providing expertise of Finance system integration with Salesforce systems
• Act as a control owner for various Sox Application Controls across Accounting and Q2C processes
• Manage vendor relationships and system integrator engagements
• Hire and retain top talent and assist in the growth of each employee through coaching and career development activities
• Assess performance of direct reports according to corporate policies and procedures
• Drive design and implementation of innovative, impactful, and high-quality solutions
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver impactful solutions to the organization
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to help define requirements and build to those requirements
• Maintain robust, trusted systems to support Slack's business
• Continuously improve on policies, procedures and technology

General Skills:

• 4+ year experience managing various financial systems & processes with an emphasis on Workday Financials, Stripe or equivalent systems
• 8+ years of experience leading and implementing/ customizing Quote to Cash/ Financials applications through full system implementation life cycle
• Solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley with experience in developing and supporting key controls for SOX compliance and audit
• Solid understanding of accounting and Q2C operational processes
• Strong analytical skills and the capacity to translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications.
• Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
• Possess exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong ability to inspire and motivate self and others, including those who don't report to you.

This role is Office-Flex (~1-3 days/wk in office) or Fully Remote
